Ecology Learning

INTRODUCTION

The study of my graduate paper with quasi-experimental design based on experiential learning is to combine human factors and software development; my research is on the human part - new immigrants’ ecology learning performance, and on the software development part - an app on smart phone in a ubiquitous learning environment. However, most of the new immigrants have two problems: not enough time to join class and not use smart phone. The solution is that a message system was introduced to new immigrants in learning Chinese and made them get used to ubiquitous learning settings. Then, teach them how to use the smart phone and learn Chinese in a traditional class as possible as they can.

As a result, by adopting Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, overall realization in ecology learning reaches to a significant level in terms of interface interaction (p<0.05), and the correlation coefficient is 0.907, showing that the interface interaction and overall realization in ecology learning are positive correlation. But what do the software development and management work in the real world? To gain the real world experiences related to management and software development, the position as a software engineer and a project manager meet my requirements.

OVERVIEW

We adopted a developing process of software engineering, including system model architecture, interface requirement, process design, and sequential diagram to design whole learning platform. The study are based on Moodle, pre-exist E-learning platform, as our system foundation. We also added Instant-Message Interactive Network Platform to Moodle, developing an Android application for supporting foreign couple to use smart phone in a ubiquitous learning environment. Also, taking advantage of SPSS to analyze the level in student’s realization before/after learning, recognition, affection, behavioral intention etc., is to show the result of performance.
